Alguém reclamou que as regras dizem que eu deveria ter esperado 24h para avaliar. Isso não é verdade. Há a possibilidade de deixar para a comunidade escolher, foi o que fiz. Particularmente acho que esta é a resposta mais adequada, tanto porque se trata de uma coleção particular que foi herdada pela universidade (o que, no meu entender, se encaixa perfeitamente à definição da palavra), quando porque é de fato o termo que já vi sendo utilizado na prática nesse contexto no Natural History Museum de Londres. |

: You haven't given any references, and I believe this is the very opposite of the correct meaning. And no, assets are bequeathed when a person dies - universities don't die.

In this particular context, it makes more sense to think of the animal collection as being received by the university and therefore owned by it. More context would be needed to derive a more accurate translation.

: You've given exactly the same reference as me, but 15 minutes later. It says 'possui ou recebeu' - I think the latter is more likely, since it's someone else's collection given to the university, perhaps after they died.
