МЕЛКОГОРЬЕ — тип горного рельефа, по высоте соответствующий низкогорному рельефу, но отличающийся от последнего морфологически. Для М. характерны крутые, часто скалистые, покрытые осыпями склоны, прорезанные глубокими, крутопадающими логами и долинами, и острые водоразделы.
