Katharine Allen is an interpreter, interpreter trainer and author of interpreting textbooks. She has an MA in translation and interpretation from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies, Spanish <> English and is owner of Chatterbox, LLC. Katharine has worked in community interpreting settings (healthcare, education, social services and legal) since 1994. As a conference-trained interpreter, she also provides simultaneous interpreting for local and state governments.
