Business/Commerce (general)
I don't have much context; in my text this is an item on a list: "Préconisations des Métiers de Synthèse". (The field is automotive engineering, but I don't know if that information helps.)
The links I found on the web for this term all seem to be related to agriculture. Here are a couple of examples:

Sondages et agriculture de rêve · Bernadette Chirac, la dame d’échecs ...

multi-disciplinary trade / profession etc.
Well, I don't know of another specific word to express it in English, but I would have thought this would be an acceptable translation in your context.
However, I suspect your heading is in fact referring to "recommendations / requirements for the various disciplines that are involved", not quite sure how you can turn it round to suit that...!

synthesizing vocation/job/trade
I was just reminded of the Volvo method, where specialists team up in the workshop to assemble the unit and a high degree of initiative and autonomy is involved (as against the production line). HTH.

mtier de synthse
NOT FOR GRADING - Although I've never seen "synthèse" used in this context from the example given
it clearly indicates that some "general trade" (agriculture, automotive engineering, etc.) involve numerous other trades (production, management, etc...) hence the use of "synthèse" in French.
This does not help you for the corresponding English term which I am not sure of but at least you now know the meaning which might help you in the selection of proposed terms by other colleagues.

industry-spanning occupation
To get away from the campus, I would have loved something like multi-vocational jobs, but it seems it would have been a neologism.
Multi-skilled jobs is quite common but it does not necessarily span a cross-section of industries.
I have, however, found a couple of 'industry-spanning occupations' and one 'industry-spanning professions'.
