Spanish term

viradores

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Engineering: Industrial welding
Not a whole lot of context. It's from a checklist for an welding assembly procedure. This section deals with a door frame and it is the list of equipment needed.

Viradores (turning gears???)
Plomadas (plumb lines)
Niveles (levels)

Also appears again with sopletes y cinta métrica (blow torches and measuring tape) and another time with sietes (clamps?)

Thanks for your help. I found examples of welding turntables on the web, so this was the answer I chose.
Non-ProZ.com Aug 26, 2005:
I know that the Routledge Dictionary gives turning gear as the translation, but I'm having trouble visualizing how that would be used to assemble a door frame. A turning gear is something that is used to crank a generator or motor. I'm thinking maybe it is some kind of winding tool or a winch.
