mailbot: mailbox + robot
In the same way I would suggest

boîte aux lettres + robot : robot aux lettres
or if you want to be more creative ...roboîte aux lettres !

This word exists in French, according to the URLs I sent you.
So, I would leave it as such, at least for now, until someday they'll find a translation for this term.
