biopark
"biopark" in English is used to mean several things
1. a kind of zoo
2. a kind of botanic garden
3. a combination of the above e.g. "Albuquerque has a small but very nice biopark. It includes the Rio Grande Botanic Garden and The Albuquerque Aquarium."
4. "Bioparks are an innovative solution to the problems of healthcare R&D, IT and therapeutic treatment in Europe and elsewhere."
In Italian "bioparco' is usually used in the sense of 1, 2 or 3. If there is no more context, I would stick to the most direct translation.

: If from the context, you are able to define that only animals are shown there, then you might use the less formal word "zoo".

Could it mean an ecological park for study/observation purposes? There are several google hits for this, and also "biopark", although I have never heard of this term before in English.
