I found this reference, but the diagram doesn't look like a swage joint to me. Swage joints are lock joints in which a ferruleapplies a collar under extremely high pressure to the end of a tube or cable. Usually associated with high pressure hoses, marine cables, bridge structures etc... Anyway, it sounds good. www.redjacket.com

Okay, I think before everyone gets all hot and bothered, that some definition is put forward: A SWAGED joint is a HIGH PRESSURE JOINT. It is NOT a CLAMPED or other lowe perssure electrical joint. SAWGING is SPECIFIC to high pressure applications. So Daniel, try READING

disagree  Daniel Marquis: C'est doublement faux, car ce n'est pas un raccord à bague biconique type Swagelok et un raccord Swagelok n'a pas de presse-étoupe.
