French term

en banque et microfinance

French to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) microfinance
Nous proposons différents types de poste en banque et microfinance

I'm puzzled because, as I understand it, microfinance INCLUDES working in a bank, so why ET microfinance? It's not an alternative to working in a bank, is it? Surely not "in a bank and microfinance"??
Proposed translations (English)
5 +7 in banks and microfinance companies

These companies usually offer very hands on financing solutions (loans, etc.) to individuals and even companies. Typically they operate in lower income communities or countries. However, legally they are not banks and, in some cases, are not regulated.

well, you could just say "positions in microfinance" which, in any case, is the key word

you are right and I was actually wrong when I said none of them are banks. In fact, the nobel prize winner runs a microfinance bank.
