Dominican Republic, surgeon's referral note (comminuted open distal humerus fracture, diabetic patient): "le hicimos curas interdiarias a las heridas." What are these treatments / how would you translate? Thank you.

We cleaned the wounds every other day.

"every other day" is not hyphenated, and "cleaned" or "treated" would sound a little more natural than "cured".

According to medical webpages, "interdiarios" is just every-other-day treatments

Creo que hay una diferencia en el español cuando un médico dice "curar" y no "tratar o limpiar" una herida. Por ejemplo, habla del uso de un medicamento o pomada curativo. No creo que sea sinónimo de limpiar la herida. En cuanto a "treated" me parece que, si bien es más general, funciona bien. Gracias por los comments!!! =)
