cater-waiter

I’m a 25 year old actor (and of course a cater waiter) who simply does not have the time to take a wine course.

a waiter working in catering service

That is, serving special events (weddings, conventions, etc.).

Apparently, this actor has to support himself with catering jobs.

Thanks, airmailrpl! Working for a catering service or making himself available to a number of catering services, thus constituting "working in catering service"
agree NancyLynn : the more common term is banquet waiter - I take it this is a rhymy-rhyme for fun
