Russian term
предоставлять в аренду
Russian to English
Bus/Financial
Business/Commerce (general)
Пожалуйста, подскажите, какой глагол лучше взять для фразы:
предоставить в аренду прилегающую территорию пансионата для свадебной церемонии (на 3 дня):
rent, lease, lend? Я что-то запуталась в таком довольно простом предложении
Я склоняюсь к "lеnd"
Cпасибо!

Here's a UK use of 'rented out':
Artificial surfaces were introduced in the Eighties in an attempt to beat the British weather and earn clubs more money as grounds were rented out for other sports and pop concerts during the week to increase revenue. However, the pitches were criticised for causing injuries and giving unnatural bounce, and they were swiftly fazed out.

: "to lease" generally means to rent under a lease agreement, and that generally means for some longer period of time: "to lease a house for the summer", "to lease a car from a dealership'"

the variant is just what I remembered of the context, you'll sort it out
it is only a short term period, so lease/rent is not really suitable

: this has been mentioned before: the "language variant" field is not for additional versions of the translation. It's for different (regional, dialect, etc.) forms of the language. Such as: BE, AE, Scottish, Australian./"Rent" is OK for 3 days, or 3 hours.

Thank you, Rachel. I did not know it. Though I do not see anything wrong in using this way - it IS a variant of the translation
