J'ai quelques difficultés avec une série de termes pour lesquels je ne trouve aucun équivalent (low/high double/single digit - low to mid-teens - high fifties to low-sixties etc.)
Pourriez-vous me dire où trouver à quels chiffres ces expressions correspondent ? Merci pour votre aide..

Explanation:
single digit = 0 to 9 (obviously!)

high means 'more than half way', so I would say 'over 6 but under 10'

In practice, Béatrice may well be right, but I would be reluctant to be quite so specific; 6–9, 7–9, or 8–9 all seem to me possibles.

I really can't understand what your problem is? As Sylvie has said, all these kinds of terms are used very expressly to AVOID giving an actual figure; and they are not 'quite precise' they are in fact 'deliberately imprecise' — even though the ranges they describe might be wider or narrower. All you need do is to figure out what the range corresponds to, as we have tried to help you do here, and then decide for yourself how best to express the same range with the same degree of vagueness in FR — which is for sure where I duck out of the discussion!

I would say high fifties to low sixties = roughly 56 to 64

and large double-digit percent = something between 51% and 99% (though perhaps starting from around 70%...)

Asker: And this is why I really find it difficult. I have asked English friends, one said exactly the same figure I already found for mid to high teens so I'm afraid this must all correspond to precise numbers...

Asker: OK, but on this site and asking a native speaker I found twice "mid- to high-teens = 15-19%, so it is quite precise and, what about high fifties to low sixties and large double-digit percent...

Asker: Thank you. I understand your point. What I really neeaded was some confirmation like "56 to 64" which simply confirms my idea and stays imprecise enough..
