What does it look at?
There are 4 different aspects of advocacy work that we want to look at in the tool. These aspects may not be completely separate in real life but it is useful to think about them separately ***to capture different as a way of during out different issues*** and making the task manageable.

These aspects are:
- Involvement in government processes. We want to know how the relations with government are. Is the door open to civil society or closed? Can civil society influence the agenda and change policy? How much space is there for civil society in the policy process?
- Involvement in Corporate structures. Similarly for those engaging with the private sector how open are companies to the message of NGOs? What has been the success of getting them to change?
