The problem I have here is "salida". I have rewritten the sentence several times, but have not been able to come up with a convincing term.

Lo que uno contrata es este tipo de medios de comunicación es ¨acceso¨.

Salida sugiere, por supuesto, algo que sale, en tanto que el tráfico de Internet es bidireccional (y además asimétrico, en el sentido de que entra más que lo que sale)
