3. Caliza noduloso-brechoide: capa superior de aspecto granuloso y poroso y con mayor contenido en arcilla que la caliza nodulosa, lo que la hace fácilmente erosionable. Por esta causa produce los ***“entrantes”*** en las lajas de piedras apiladas.

4. Caliza nodulosa: capa inferior con un grano bien visible, poco porosa y más dura que la caliza nº 3, por lo que resiste mejor la erosión y la meteorización y perdura más que las calizas noduloso-brechoides que la limitan, generando los salientes en las formaciones de lajas superpuestas.


The text is part of a description of the rocks that make up El Torcal de Antequera. I know what they are referring to, but can't decide which English term to use to translate 'entrantes' here.
