: This is good, but sometimes different accountants will use different language. I would put under 'other reserves' (or provisions) but have seen 'posted to the item/entry for other reserves'.by formal old-fashioned accountants.

Quite right about "posted to", but to a "head" or "heading", not to an "item/entry". The "item/entry" is **what** is posted.
