This is in a section on 'AC output circuit operation' about a cup anemometer.
My stab - Internal variable resistance converts this open collector output signal into a square wave output with amplitude at the voltage source.
I'm not sure whether 'amplitude' should really be 'range' or something like that, and as I don't really understand what I'm writing about, I don't know whether what I've put actually makes sense. I'm sure there must be a proper technical way of saying this... any help much appreciated!!
