Było już kiedyś identyczne pytanie i przychylałbym się raczej do wersji podanej wtedy przez Witolda Wiechowskiego. W podanym przez niego odnośniku występują też inne nazwy tej funkcji

Znalazłem tłumaczenie z angielskiego o podobnej tematyce, które robiłem w maju i tam jest np. takie zdanie:
"Riggers will attach all lifting equipment to the crane hook at one end and onto the lifting points of the load to be lifted at....."
