Spanish term
la segregación de toda divergencia
Spanish to English
Art/Literary
Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting
I cannot get this phrase down right. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
My attempt so far (but I think I have it backwards) is:
These texts consolidate the nucleus of what was perceived at the time as a community threatened with the segregation of.......???
Thanks.

the segregation caused by any kind of divergence.
I think that inserting "caused" or even "brought about" might help to render this more clearly in English. And with regards to the "de toda" in the source, I suggest adding "any kind of" to add emphasis.
Depending on the rest of the text you might also consider "deviation" instead of divergence, but having said that divergence works well enough.

Discussion
Through the segregation caused by any kind of divergence, these texts consolidate the core of what was in its time considered a threatened community.
