Explanation:
Il s'agit en fait d'une chemise à dossier munie de deux renforts intérieurs: sur l'un trois paires de courtes "attaches" métalliques flexibles, sur l'autre, trois trous. Entre les deux, des "feuilles de cartable" (feuilles à trois trous). En fait, sur les listes de fournitures scolaires, on les appelait communément "Duo-Tang" et tout le monde savait de quoi il s'agissait. Maintenant, pour les commander en ligne, il faut demander des "reliures à trois crampons" (!) (Pour une fois, je préfèrerais l'antonomase!) :

Somme toute, les attaches métalliques distinguent les "folders" des "binders" - qu'on appelait au Québec, dans le temps, des "cartables" mais qui s'appellent maintenant des "reliures" à trois anneaux, à anneaux en "D", etc., mais pas des "classeurs" (ce qu'on réserve au meuble qui contient des... chemises). Et nos "cartables" ressemblent maintenant aux cartables français... ;-)
