Explanations and translation are below

Assuming that your text is about crystal structure and thermal or irradiation deformations in materials, here are some definitions and explanations for you.

Dislocations are linear defects in crystals. The dislocation density in deformed materials (metals) is determined by two competing processes: dislocation generation and annihilation of dislocations of opposite signs. Ultimately the dislocation density is thus limited by dislocation annihilation.
Since dislocations are mobile defects, heating or irradiation of a crystal which is accompanied by an increase in interatomic distances, results in the intensification of both the dislocation migration (sink) and the annihilation of dislocations.
Hence, your sentence should be translated as follows:

The anomalous (not abnormal!) increase of the interatomic distances is accompanied by both extensive dislocation sink and annihilation.

The word "сток" ("sink") can have also the meaning "reservoir": e.g. if you want to describe the accumulation ("nucleation") of migrating dislocations, you can say that dislocations migrate to a sink.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Thank you to everyone for your help! I understand the concept of a sink: a device or system where some extensive entity is absorbed (McGraw-Hill Dictionary of Scientific and Technical Terms). A sink is a physical entity or location: "defects that annihilate at sinks," "it is a strong points defect sink site" (http://www.mrs.org/meetings/fall98/absbook/AbstractBookJ.html). I may be wrong, but it seems to me that the word сток here refers to a process, not a location. СТОК, 1. см. стечь (Ожегов). Происходит интенсивный сток и аннигиляция дислокаций и коллективный атомные перемещения. Вакансии не успевали стекать во время выдержки при нагреве и в процессе охлаждения. Can sink refer to an action in this sense in English? So, the word "migration" is interesting. But, На границах зародышей появляется повышенная концентрация вакансий, создаваемая при поглощении дислокаций перемещающейся границей. I am still not perfectly clear on what happens that enables the dislocations to annihilate, but it seems obvious that something has to move. I hope that "dislocation migration and annihilation" is adequate. Best wishes, Jim"

flow / displacement

The anomalous increase of distance between atoms is also accompanied by intensive flow and the elimination of displacement.

.... dislocations' sink and annihilation

Dear Jwalker,

Please take the ready answer:

=====
An abnormal increase of the interatomic distance is accompanied by both the intensive sink and dislocations' annihilation.

OR !!!:::

.... dislocations' sink and annihilation
(if your QUESTION is correct:))
======

I think I can even imagine the main theme of your article or other text:) since I am PhD and have some 7 years experience in translating similar text (I mean Physics) and even greater (10+ years)experience in editing an international scientific monthly in English:)

Sincerely yours,

Also common are "dislocation motion", "dislocation movement", and "dislocation density"; however, accumulation seems more correct in your example.

As for the other terms in your sentence, “anomalous increase” and “inter-atomic distance” are accepted generally (140 and over 600 examples, respectively).

Below is a possible translation of your sentence :
“The anomalous increase in the inter-atomic distance is also accompanied by an intensive rise in the dislocation density and annihilation.”
