I wore longer clothes so as not to draw attention to myself and a very tight bra to reduce the size of my bust...

My understanding of what is meant here. More of the surrounding text would clarify whether or not I am interpreting it right.

thanks, Juliet. That would be logical, although it could be that she is trying not to draw attention to her body by not wearing short skirts as well...
