Differences It might be interesting here to note the difference between continuous and continual. Eg, whether it's raining continually or continuously; the latter never stops.

Skribenten stilar med ord han inte förstår. "Continuous" är sammanhängande i tid, och det som avses. "Contiguous" är sammanhängande i rum, som i t.ex. "the contiguous United States" vilket avser 48 stater, inte Alaska och Hawaii,
(till skillnad från "continental United States" som ju rent logiskt inkluderar Alaska).

sammanhängande (contiguous)

The expression "contiguous network" has an established and well defined meaning:

"A contiguous network is a single Class A, B, or C network for which all routes to subnets of that network pass through only other subnets of that same single network."

For this reason I would refer to the English term within brackets or in a footnote.
