Swedish term

svårfinansierad

Swedish to English Bus/Financial Finance (general) property market
köpa svårfinansierade fastigheter
Not sure how to interpret this (although I'm sure I've seen it before and forgotten what I said). Is it "difficult to finance" or is it indicating that the finances around some properties are in difficulty or are less than optimal?
TIA

Discussion

Helen Johnson (asker) Aug 27, 2011:
The text is a bit ironic in parts and I was trying to be polite in wondering whether finances were "dubious" rather than just "difficult to find". Doubtless I was potentially reading too much into it though. The person speaking in this text has used some unusual word combinations and phrases that could be open to interpretation, simple as that. The 2 suggestions made here are already different (although not in the potential sense I was thinking of ;)

Vad gäller din tolkningsfråga när det gäller det semantiska planet har jag dock ingen aning.

Min tolkning är att det handlar om svårigheter att skaffa (tillräckligt med) kapital för fastigheterna (för t.ex. köp, underhåll eller ändringar). Det verkar vara hur ordet normalt används på svenska (googla t.ex. på "svårfinansierad").
