does anyone have an idea regarding those two terms ?

Context :

"Intrinsic (Internal)
Motivated by personal inner drive: personal growth, personal values, beliefs, attitudes
Attend a course for the commitment to learning (a pull)

Extrinsic (External)

Motivated by external factors: prestige, money, success, promotion
Attend a course for the benefit brought about by a qualification or compliance (a push)"

Should it be used in a litteral way ?

Ce sont des termes utilisés en psychologie sociale et cognitive, dont la signification correspond exactement aux descriptions en anglais. Par contre, laisser pull/push me semble complètement déplacé, cela n'a rien à voir dans ce contexte.
