Discussion

Nikki Scott-Despaigne Jul 20, 2013:
Agree with the typo. A Google search would suggest a correction though.
Sheri P Jul 20, 2013:
Typo? Is there an erroneous extra 'p' in your term? That might account for difficulty in searching for an appropriate translation.

salvage treatment according to protocol X

after a relapse following chemotherapy (or other), "rattrapage" here refers to another treatment that will attempt once again to cure the disease. This salvage treatment follows a specific protocol.
Example sentence:

After relapse, use salvage treatment according to protocol XYZ

Peer comment(s):

agree Nikki Scott-Despaigne : Or, salvage therapy, - chemotherapy. Chances are too, that in English, we would write : "... according to the X protocol". (With the definite article and the name of the protocol placed before the word "protocol").
