This is a long financial text, and the end of this particular sentence is making my eyes water, I'm not happy with the last part, but I'm quite sure it has a simple explanation, (it's probably actually the simplest part, but I can't get around it in simple English) so if anybody can help shed some light, I'd be very grateful :)

A consecuencia de diversas operaciones, sin conocimiento de la Fundación, a 31 de diciembre se habría diluido definitivamente la participación del 12,1592% que la Fundación mantenía en XXXX(company), manteniendo la Fundación, por este motivo, el correspondiente deterioro de valor sobre la totalidad del valor de dicha participación, sin perjuicio de las acciones judiciales que en lo menester se instaren en el Perú.

I hate legal and finantial texts... Lawyers and economists always write as though they have something to prove.

This is what I can think of right now off the top of my head... I'm sure better answers will come along, but this kind of gets the ball rolling.... and sometimes it is just a case of brainstorming and getting a few ideas out there and suddenly inspiration comes in a flash!

Personally, I'd leave out the "future".

INSTAR: "Instaren" is the 3rd person plural form of the future subjunctive of the verb "instar" (which has a reflexive/passive sense in this sentence).

Asker: Thanks Cinnamon, I can see what you are saying, however in this case the legal actions in Peru happened in the past... I think this was the reason I was getting confused with it, as gramatically it didn't quite make sense.
