Spanish term or phrase: rectificado
A text to translate with very little context and no drawings, from Spanish (Spain) to English, comes

"RECTIFICADO DEL SECADOR 38" (I don't know if a secador 38 is the company's way of indicating which dryer they are referring to or if it is a specific type of dryer)

"REGLAJES DE RECTIFICADO"

"MIENTRAS SE REALICE EL RECTIFICADO IN SITU, HABRA CONTINUAMENTE UN VIGILANTE EN EL SITIO EN CADA UNO DE LOS TURNOS"

"RECTIFICADO EN SITU"

I do not know what company this is, or what type of dryer, but they speak of using forklifts and cranes so it is a large machine. I appreciate your help.

After receiving different suggestions I still was not sure--due to the fact that there was not enough information in the source text--I asked the client. And you were right---he wanted "grinding". Thanks so much!

adjustment

Explanation:
Difficult without more context, but "reglajes" is "settings" so "adjustment settings" would be logical, but of course not necessarily correct :)

Problem is rectificado is a participle and to make matters worse RAE gives a version of rectificar related to electricity as converting an alternative current to a continuous one

repair

Explanation:
It is at least a major repair or possibly overhaul.

The fact that is on site (not at the factory) and requires heavy equipment plus a 24 hour security watch, would indicate something
of a major nature.
