Spanish term or phrase: RDM
From the summary of contract between two film production companies, signed in Spain:

"cambio el coproductor alemán recibiría los derechos de la película para el territorio alemán referido más el 7,38% del RDM de todas las partes del mundo"

There is no further mention of this. Could it be something to do with "derechos de merchandising"?

And surprisingly, for some, this is the right answer, pretty much; it appears to mean "rincones del mundo", and the sentence repeats itself. Many thanks Edward!

As in the amount of money the film takes in worldwide. I'm not sure what exactly RDM would stand for, though.

I hope this gets the ball rolling anyway, David.

Best of luck...

agree  philgoddard: This is a possibility, but why would they follow it with "de todas las partes del mundo"?//Yes, I think you're probably right. I'd put a translator's note saying this is an educated guess.

-> I think because sometimes "the rest of the world" can be defined as excluding some territories - here it's making it clear that none are excluded.//Will do, many thanks! ;-)
