  -> je dirais prendre connaissance

Explanation:
I think 'acknowledge' is being used here with the sense of 'confirm'

Peer comments on this answer (and responses from the answerer)

-> I would agree that the sense here is 'approuver'

16 mins
-> 'valider les informations saisies...' ?

agree  Didier Fourcot: Per my understanding and French law in an auction, the winner already approved by bidding and winning, there is no more any possible return, "approuver" should mean that there is a way to do not do so, but it is already too late?
17 mins
-> Merci, Didier ! 'Acknowledge' definitely implies to me there is an option NOT to; otherwise, we'd normally use a different verb.

prendre acte

Explanation:

Explanation:
This appears to refer to Internet auctions, and in such circumstances it is usual for a winner to be required to tick a check box on a form, alongside which it says (something like) "Je déclare avoir lu et approuvé (les conditions)", before (s)he can collect the goods.

In much the same way as when you up-date software on-line you have to tick a check-box accompanied by a text confirming you've read the 50-page EULA (which, of course, you never do...).
