Not sure if it is the correct answer.
I have tried a lot of combinations related to Chile, Brazil, and South America and there are lot of GSACs, but nothing makes sense.
From the way the letter is written..."...in this GSAC..." it sounds like it might be a conference, for example a GSA Conference. If it were a company, he would have said "...in GSAC..."
