This is with reference to cast concrete used for decorative objects. It occurs in the following sentence:
Dieser hitzbeständige Giessbeton besteht aus einer Mischung aus hochtemperaturfestem Zement in Verbindung mit Hüttenasche und anderen Zutaten.
The only ashes I can find as an ingredient in concrete are wood ash and fly ash. It has been suggested to me that this may be fly ash, but I am dubious because I have only seen it as Flugasche. Can anyone confirm this please?

I suspect that this is a misnomer for 'Hüttensand' or 'Hochofenschlacke', which are largely used as synonyms. They would have used 'Flugasche' indeed if they meant fly ash.

Regarding your comment on Barbara's reference posting, please note that 'granulated blast-furnace ash' is hardly ever used. Even if you omit 'granulated' as a qualifier, many of the search hits shown on the first few result pages for 'blast-furnace ash' are non-native sources.
