Spanish term

ostentan una desarticulación ordenada

Spanish to English Art/Literary Journalism Article about an artist
Context:

(V) La forma

TIA!

agree Marcelo González : I also suggest 'boast' for 'ostentan'>systematic disconnectedness' or 'disconnect' as a noun as well perhaps?

Thanks, Marcelo. Yes, 'disconnect' (n.) would work nicely.

display (a kind of) orderly disjointedness/disconnection/dissociation

"Orderly disjointedness" sounds a bit oxymoronic perhaps, but disconnection or dissociation might work here if you say they "a kind of orderly disconnection/dissociation from one another", as that appears to be what the author is saying, i.e. that they don't appear to be connected with each other, and yet they are connected on some level.

agree Marcelo González : I also suggest 'boast'; for examples of disconnect, see my suggestion just posted >with 'a kind of orderly disconnection' might be an option ● I also wonder about 'disconnect' as a noun here as well

Possibly, and I may be mistaken, but to me disconnect connotes some kind of failure to connect, which I'm not altogether sure is the case here. Cheers, Marcelo.

Spanish term (edited): otras que ostentan una desarticulación ordenada

others that feature a purposeful lack of connectedness

Or, if you will:

others that feature a studied lack of connectedness

Just what came to mind immediately, without any reflection....

Or, perhaps better:

"lack of coherence" instead of "lack of connectedness"

Or perhaps a more literal rendering might also be an option, as 'disarticulation' exists in the social sciences as well (as seen below).

Or perhaps 'boast a (certain/sort of) structural/structured disarticulation'

'Structural disarticulation' is used, along with economic and social disarticulation, in the context of development; thus, even if the use here may not be precisely the same, a literal translation may be preferible.
