sleepy stage of litigation
Quisiera saber a qué se refieren con "sleepy stage of litigation" en la siguiente frase:
The case entered a “sleepy” stage of litigation
Mi intento:
El caso entró en una en una etapa de "letargo" durante la demanda.
No tengo ni idea de qué quieren decir con "sleepy stage of litigation" y mucho menos cuál es el término jurídico en español.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

Con los datos que tenemos, imagino que se estará refiriendo a que el proceso está interrumpido o bien por la inactividad de las partes o bien por la del propio tribunal. En esos casos suele hablarse de inactividad (sobre todo, cuando se debe a la inactividad de las partes) o paralización del proceso (sobre todo, cuando se debe a la inactividad del tribunal).
