Was bedeutet "extreme" hier:
Centerpontoon:
**Extreme** length
Extreme breadth
Extreme depth
Side pontoons
Length
Breadth
Extreme depth

Breadth moulded (B). This is the maximum beam, or breadth, of the ship measured inside the inner shell strakes of plating, and usually occurs amidships.
Breadth extreme (BE). This is the maximum breadth including all side plating, straps, etc.
Draught extreme (TE). This is obtained by adding to the draught moulded the distance between the moulded base line and a line touching the lowest point of the underside of the keel. This line is continued to the FP and AP, where it is used as the datum for the sets of draught marks
Displacement extreme. ( E) This equals the moulded displacement, plus the displacement of the shell plating, bossings, cruiser stern and all other appendages.
http://www.splashmaritime.com.au/Marops/data/less/Shipk/Desi...
The Beam is usually quoted at amidships and is most commonly quoted as the Moulded Beam which is the greatest distance between the two sides of the ship at its greatest width of the chosen section, as shown on Figure 2 above. The measurement is usually done between the inside of the ship’s plating. Except for the Moulded Beam there is also the Breadth Extreme which is measured to the outside of the ship’s plating but and it may also take into account any overhangs or flare.

7 Extreme Breadth: This is the maximum measurement between the extreme point, posts and starboard.
8 Moulded Breadth: It is the distance from port to starboard measured from the inside edges of the plating
9 Extreme Depth: This is defined as the distance from the upper deck to the underside of the keel

Bis jetzt nur gefunden:
A ship's Length Overall [LOA] is measured in feet and inches from the extreme forward end of the bow to the extreme aft end of the stern.
