Explanation:
The continuous development of our product is guided by consumer requirements and we get our input from the experts: families with children.

I prefer requirements over needs every time... but consumer expectations could be an alternative.
Instead of experts maybe also "focus group", but that me be too much marketingspeak for consumers...
