Es la transcripción de un video en el que se analiza los beneficios de las relaciones a largo plazo para un hombre. Me quedé estancado en esa frase "rub edges". Ya le vi los labios mil veces y efectivamente dice "rub" y no "rough". Apreciaré mucho su apoyo con esta traducción colegas.

Lo que veo en común en los distintos usos es que el contacto es a través de las "zonas ásperas" de uno y del otro, y simplemente sucede, o se obtiene información, sin que se corrija o mejore nada (eso no parece estar implicado en "to rub edges"); simplemente describe la situación de conflictos/incomodidades durante los contactos interpersonales.
