English term or phrase: first vertical derivative transform
Figure 6: The first vertical derivative (1VD) transform is the rate of change of the potential field in the vertical direction. Application of this filter has the effect of accentuating the shorter wavelength (higher frequency) components at the expense of longer wavelength (more regional) features.

No sé si es primera derivada vertical transformada o se trata de una falla transformante.

Explanation:
The transform of the first vertical derivative is a mathematical term. In this case in particular it contracts the vertical axis compacting the image favoring visual interpretation.

Vertical Translation is when a function moves upwards or downwards by a certain amount. As a result of this transformation, the tangent line moves along with the function.
For instance, if the original function of a graph is
y=x2+2 at x=1
and this function underwent a vertical translation of +3. What would the tangent line be after the transformations if the original tangent line function is y=2x+1

It would be $y=2x+4 because the graph moved up, so the y-intercept would change. In this case, verticals translations do not affect the slope and the derivatives stays the same.
