Spanish term (edited): documentaci�n para obra

I very often translate obra as project in these contexts, and this is what I think would fit best here. Construction is not specific enough (it's just one obra) and job site is only focusing on where whatever it is is going to be built, which doesn't strike me as appropriate either.

Not just the plans, but everything else that goes along with it (Bills of materials, etc.)

Why would you want to do that, when the EVIDENCE proves the contrary?
You might want to check the links I gave above, plus do a goggle search on your own. Then you would see that this term is, in fact, used CONSTANTLY in the construction industry.

Also, why would you still insist that ther term \"documentation\" is incorrect, when the asker has decreed otherwise?

And perhaps you should look it up yourself!. I\'ll draw your attention to meaning 3 for \"Constant\" from Webster\'s Unabridged New 20th Century Dictionary, Second Edition, Page 391-A: \"3. going on all the time; continual; persistant\". That is exactly the sense that I used the word in. Contrary to what you tried to imply, \"constant\" does not necessarily mean \"always, without fail, in all cases, never varying.\" It simply means that is happens regularly, presitantly, and continually. In this case, it does not mean that no other terms besides \"job site documentaiton\" are used, ever, anywhere, which is what you are trying to imply. Rather, it means exactly what the dictionary says it means: continually, persistantly.

Now, tell me again why \"Job Site Documentation\" is not in CONSTANT use, when the simple fact that I provided six references proves otherwise?

And remind me one more time why you still insist that the term \"documentation\" should not be used here, when the asker has decreed otherwise?

Also, for someone who claims to not be suffering a severe case of sour grapes, you seem to be making an awful lot of fuss! Methinks the facts belay the claim...
