English term

lines clause

English to German Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
Paragraph header in insurance policy.
According to Eurodicautom "red line clause" stays as "Red Line Clause" in German. Is there really no German insurance term for "lines clause"???

Background info - not for points

I don't have a translation, Beatrix, but I wonder if this info might help:
---
net retained lines clause
A provision in an excess of loss reinsurance contract that the agreement covers liability only on the insurer's net retention.

REDLINING
Literally means to draw a red line on a map around areas to receive special treatment. Refusal to issue insurance based solely on where applicants live is illegal in all states. Denial of insurance must be risk-based.
