Hola colegas

Au, your word reminds me of "Finegans Wake" by James Joyce. This entire book is made up of an invented language based on English but loaded with French, Latin, Italian, etc. The very title is a multi-level pun.
Good luck with your word.

Transrelating
I think it would fit, especially with the different meanings of relate, and it sounds similar enough to "translating."

About the \"nos\"...no, it\'s not easy to do it neatly in English. One of the reasons I used \"relate\" is that one of its meanings implies reciprocity and interaction (another, of course, is \"to tell,\" which goes with \"decir\"):
re·late ( P ) Pronunciation Key (r-lt)
v. re·lat·ed, re·lat·ing, re·lates
v. tr.
To narrate or tell. See Synonyms at describe.
To bring into or link in logical or natural association. See Synonyms at join.
To establish or demonstrate a connection between.
v. intr.
To have connection, relation, or reference: The symbols relate to an earlier system.
To have or establish a reciprocal relationship; interact: She doesn\'t relate well to her peers.
To react in response, especially favorably: I just can\'t relate to these new fashions

Transposing
Hola Au. ¿Qué te parece "transposing"?
trans + posing
referring to others: posing = putting in place, setting forth, presenting for consideration (meaning 1 given by Merriam-Webster http://m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=pose&x=...
referring to ourselves: setting ourselves forth, presenting ourselves, like posing for a photo.
--------------------------------------------------
Note added at 1 day 21 hrs 21 mins (2005-03-09 10:23:10 GMT)
--------------------------------------------------
Este segundo seignificado de \"posing\" (posing for a photo) creo que incluye también el elemento NOS ya que es la forma intransitiva, entonces no es necesario que digamos \"transposing us\".

--------------------------------------------------
I like Javier\'s idea, especially since we don\'t have to change the word too much (we only change one vowel in traduciendo -> tradiciendo, so it\'s nice to be able to do almost the same in English). However, if I saw the English version of the website only and saw this word (i.e. if I hadn\'t seen the Spanish and thus expecting a neologism/pun), then I\'d immediately think: \"Hey, that\'s a typo. They misspelled the word \"translating\", their own profession! And they didn\'t spell-check their own website.\" Unless, Au, there\'s no such risk; you\'re the one to judge. So, what to do? How about capitalizing the second T? It would be \"TransTaling\", and that would direct the attention to \"taling\", and would make one think of this interesting neologism. I can\'t think of another idea, but leaving it as \"transtaling\" could be confusing.

:-)))
Una pregunta, ninguno de ustedes, hasta ahora, coloca el elemento NOS, claro, en espaol es un sufijito de tres letras, pero en ingls...o se cae en el ourselves o se omite el concepto, verdad? No hay muchas opciones. Qu opinan?
