flex job Explanation: 657 Google hits for this. See for instance websites below. Of course it's just a calque of the Danish, but might fit more elegantly into your text. subsidised job Explanation: Subsidised job - term from a paper by Nabanita Datta Gupta & Mona Larsen There are a lot of rules and regulations about who can apply and who is entitled to a 'fleksjob', but in the end it is a tailored job specifically for the individual, on terms agreed with the employer, but subject to other agreements on the labour market. It may be part time, or it may involve flexible hours, but in principle aims to be full-time employment. http://www.voksenmobning.dk/sw35162.asp This link and the ones acccessible from it explain some of the angles. ****** Fleksjob (Flexible job) The homepage www.fleksjob.dk was the extended arm for The Center for Development of Jobs on Special Terms (an Institute of the Danish Government). The homepage was builded on the Open Source Content Management System PHPNUKE. http://www.fleksjob2.dk/ForsideFleksjob.htm http://www.cabiweb.dk/sw12386.asp - but this English page is not terribly helpful, I'm afraid. |
