Dutch term

inhoudelijke actie

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Business/Commerce (general)
Context: De deelnemers formuleren vervolgens een inhoudelijke actie en een procesactie om dergelijke afwijkingen voortaan te voorkomen.

This is regarding a meeting framework, and what to do if there is a deviation in the standard procedure.
Proposed translations (English)
4 +3 a substantive action (point/item)

Discussion

Barend van Zadelhoff Nov 30, 2012:
So a deviation has occurred in the standard procedure?
Then all (?) participants are required to formulate (in writing? and when?) an 'inhoudelijke actie' and a 'procesactie' in order to prevent such a deviation might occur again at some future point in time?

Selected

a substantive action (point/item)

As opposed to a procedural action (point/item).

agree philgoddard : Yes, you need to have something after "action". Any similarly nebulous translation would do.
