Dutch term

hoger rendement dan de huidige 10% winst op eigen vermogen

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Finance (general)
I'm just looking for confirmation of the best way to phrase this, as I'm not a financial translator. This comes up in a general company profile. I see De Keizer gives return on equity for rendement op eigen vermogen. "a higher return on equity than the current 10% profit" "a higher return than the current 10% profit on equity"?? Can you tell I'm guessing ;-)

Het bedrijf haalde in 2005 een omzet van 80 miljoen euro, maar het management mikt tegen 2010 op een groei van dat bedrag tot 100 miljoen. En, vooral, op **een hoger rendement dan de huidige 10 % winst op eigen vermogen**. [CEO]: “De hogere winstmarges op onze nieuwe producten moeten tegen 2011 35 % haalbaar maken.”

Thank yoy. I agree with you and Dave. I was probably too 'spastic' in my attempt to avoid using the word 'return' twice.
Something went wrong...
