In base alla nomenclatura IUPAC, e dai miei esami all'università, ho sempre saputo che il suffisso **-one** sta per il gruppo funzionale *chetone*, e questo anche in inglese (v. sito citato sotto). Per cui decisamente non lo tradurrei con *uno*.
