Si tratta dell'effetto corona, ma non riesco a capire l'interazione con l'ago (o altro). L'unico rif. che ho trovato in italiano dice "la scarica a effetto corona ago-controelettrodo", ed anche questo in inglese : "The corona needle is a 0.020A stainless steel wire".
