Handling of Production Practice Schemes
Production practice schemes are the instruction sets to define the RH process events for the different steelgrades in a standardized form. The schemes are **assembled** in the metallurgical know how database. The planned steel grade specifies the production practice to be used for one heat.
The planned process scheme is displayed in graphical form. During the treatment the applied production practice and the way in which the heat is carried out is shown to the operator. The next action to be performed is indicated together with the remaining duration until start of that action.
The following process events and instructions can be defined in the production practice:
- temperature/oxygen measurement
- sampling
- charging of deoxidation agent
- start of decarburization
- start of dehydrogenization
- charging of alloying materials
- vacuum pump pattern
- liftgas pattern
- end of treatment
