¿es 3 veces por semana o 3 x por semana, o porqué hay una x y después dice weekly? ¿la x significa algo más o es simplemente por semana?

La "x" indica "veces".
Entiendo tu confusión, parece que abajo usaron "x" para indicar "por" también:
3 x weekly x 6 weeks = 3 times per week per 6 weeks
Es la única forma en que tiene sentido para mí.

Entiendo tu confusión, parece que abajo usaron "x" para indicar "por" también:
3 x weekly x 6 weeks = 3 times per week per 6 weeks
Es la única forma en que tiene sentido para mí.
