This is a teleconference service - I'm just wondering how they invoice per minute and count per second - anyone who reads their cell phone bills might be able to enlighten me :-)

I believe this may mean that they are billed per minute and that each minute is billed as of its first second.

That is exactly what I mean. Many telephone companies bill from the first second, but per minute.

I would guess that it is very expensive.
Maybe the total number of seconds calulated is dependent upon the number of users logged on.

Something else which may be relevant is that the total number of seconds for 4 users ( some of whom may logon after start or leave before end)where the system has been on for let's say 5 minutes maybe greater than 5 minutes eg 421 seconds.
